1.  Musical.ly, the fast-growing social network that took U.S. teens by storm, was acquired by China‘s Bytedance (Toutiao) for $1000 million.

2.Global ridesharing leader Didi completed 7.4 million rides in 2017 and raised an additional $6 billion at a valuation over $50 billion as it continues its amazing growth in China and abroad.

3.U.S. ecommerce leaders wish and houzz each raised several hundred million dollars to continue their respective category leadership.

We completed 59 new investments in 2017, ranging from seed stage start-ups in our global Discovery Fund to established leaders with millions of users. Crunchbase named GGV Capital one of the top5 most active early stage VCs globally.

Along the way, we continued to invest aggressively in founders and their executive teams, launching a new program in 2017 called Founders+Leaders. F+L is an industry first- a comprehensive program for founders and executive teams incorporating leaderships and management training, mentorship and networking. We expect to have several hundred participations in the program in 2018.

一路走来，我们持续积极地投资企业创始人及其管理团队，并在2017年发起了一项名为Founders+Leaders的新计划（简称F+L）。“F+L”是行业第一个为创始人和管理团队搭建的综合项目，其中包括领导力和管理培训，导师培训和网络课程。我们预计在2018年这个项目将会有几百位参与者。

Over the course of 2017, more than 2000 entrepreneurs and teams from the U.S. and China attend our “Evolving” events- Evolving Ecommerce (New York), Evolving Lifestyle (Beijing) and Evolving Enterprise (San Francisco). We also launched a newsletter and product called 996 to provede insights about the moves and shakes in China‘s technology scene.
